A trip around the world in a cartoon! The works submitted till now for the first edition of "Palatifini CARTOONS" are many and from all over the world.

Starting from  13 December 2011, it is possible to pre-subscribe to the Fourth Genoa Pesto World Championship that will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 in the splendid setting of Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.

On the occasion of the celebrations in honor of Paul Bocuse, proclaimed “Chef of the century”, Lyon hosted on 26 November a pesto preliminary competition of mortar made pesto at Les Halles de Lyon, internationally renowned as the most important market of foods and wines of high quality. Ten challengers, one winner: Alexandre Gleich!

Thanks to the Chamber of Commerce of Imperia, two pesto competitions valid for the 2012 Pesto World Championship were carried out during Olioliva, the festival of the new olive oil! The winners are Fabrizio Ceccarelli, cook, and Jacopo Mainardi, student. They are both from Imperia. Here on the left the jury of friday competition!
