The second Pesto World Championship will be held in Genoa's historic Palazzo Ducale, Salone del Maggior Consiglio. 100 competitors from all over the world will prepare Genoese pesto exclusively with a pestle and mortar, using only authentic, genuine ingredients. The Championship is open to both professional and amateur cooks.

h.11 am - Greeting of Authorities and presentation by Organizzation

h.12.45 am - Proclamation of 10 finalists and awards for children

h.13 am - Buffet with focaccia and white wine and other typical Ligurian products
