The production of the First Genoa Mortar Made Pesto Championship involved many professional skills: territorial marketing, graphic and communication, gastronomy, history and traditions. Responsible for the organization are: Roberto Panizza, Sergio Di Paolo, Sara Di Paolo, Mauro Cavallero, Maria Irene Sassi e Gianni Arimondo.

Pesto, the ambassador of Liguria: a few words about Territorial Marketing

Territorial Marketing means to be able to do three things: to protect diversity, to promote diversity, to make diversity accessible to people.

For us protecting diversity means to know and love our own traditions and culture, our history and way of life. And to recognize our distinctive elements. Protection of peculiarities does not make sense without their promotion. Without the ability to find new opportunities: curiosity and interest. And then, the accessibility: to welcome people, to let them come close, whiff us. or make pesto with us according to the traditional ways.

The Championship's Mark

Our Pesto displays two new colors: gold-yellow and black. Our mark is the symbol of our new language that mixes traditional elements with strength and innovation. Tradition is represented by the green color and the marble mortar, the word 'pesto' is written in golden because gold-yellow is the color of winners. And black is the color of elegance and modernity and a bit of aggression at the same time.
