The Fourth Edition of the Genoa Pesto World Championship will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 in the splendid setting of Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.

The Championship is open to both professional and amateur cooks , coming from any country in the world, as long as they are of age. The maximum number of participants is 100: 50% from Genoa and Liguria, 25% from Italy and 25% from the rest of the World. They will be accepted in order of enrolment. Among the other events, by popular demand, have confirmed the "Childrens'Championship", the "Pesto Week of Ligurian Restaurateurs" and the Guided tour and special offer to visit Genoa.
In this edition a new international competition: "Palatifini Cartoons" which has received from around the world, works of great originality and artistic interest. It 'being the work of selection by the jury, composed by famous cartoonists and industry experts.
