Genova Pesto World Championship

For Columbus Day, pesto demonstrations and competitions will be held in different times and places of the city, in the days of parades and celebrations.

Here the program:

10.00 a.m. - Welcome Greetings by Eataly and Authorities.
10.15 a.m. - Demonstration of mortar made Pesto.
10.30 a.m. - First competition of New York and Genoa Firefighters.
11.15 a.m. - Second competition for lovers of Italian cuisine.
12.00 a.m. - Announcement of the winners and internet connection with the ceremony of
“Genoa and Columbus Day” at Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.
