The emotions of the Championship go on until 20 June, in the Historic Kitchens of the National Gallery of Palazzo Spinola in Genoa, with mortar made Pesto demonstrations by Association Palatifini along with 10 finalists in the Third Pesto World Championship 2010. Every Saturday, at 3pm.

Le emozioni del Campionato proseguono ogni sabato, fino al 20 giugno, nelle storiche cucine della Galleria Nazionale di Palazzo Spinola - a Genova in piazza Pellicceria 1 - con le dimostrazioni di pesto a cura dell’Associazione Palatifini e con la mostra “Antichi Mortai”. Sabato 27 marzosarà Maurizio Valle, il curatore della mostra, a raccontare tutti i segreti dei mortai storici esposti e della preparazione del vero pesto genovese al mortaio.

Federico Ferro is the winner of the third World Pesto Championship just ended in Sala del Maggior Consiglio at Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.He’s 41 from Genoa and he is a chemist in Sestri Levante, he has participated with the old family mortar “pushed by his great passion for the cuisine”. In a hall perfumed by basil he has received the Golden Pestle as winner by the journalist Bruno Pizzul, the unforgettable Italian sports voice.

Anichinico Antonio has won the last preliminary competition - valid for the Pesto World Championship 2010 - organized at "Taste", the prestigious manifestation of wines and food products organized by Pitti Immagine at Stazione Leopolda in Florence and now become the most qualified salon of Italian taste.
