Rolli’n’stokke Cuisine, art and design contaminations in the Rolli Palaces.
On the occasion of “Rolli Days”, 21/22 May, Palatifini Association offers free tastings of “baccalà” prepared with flavors of Liguria, a contamination between art, food and design, based on one of the most typical ingredients of our cuisine, the cod! The event is organized in collaboration with Genovesato Local Touristic System and Palazzo Ducale Cultural Foundation. Samples are offered freely inside of a colorful and unusual contemporary design box!
Tasting places are in Genoa, Via Garibaldi (Palazzo Rosso) and at Liguriastyle.it (second floor of Imperial Palace in Piazza Campetto 8-A) and follow these times: Saturday, May 21 from 11 am until noon and from 5 pm to 7 pm and Sunday May 22 from 11 am until noon.
“Rolli Days” every year sees Genoa and its ancient buildings protagonists of contemporary art, music and theater, with entertainment and tours.
The “Rolli Palaces” are patrician properties dating back to the 1600’s, which were included by Andrea Doria in a special list of residences that thanks to their particular elegance and beauty were used to house European sovereigns and ambassadors of the time.
Stockfish and “baccalà”, prime ingredients of delicious dishes of the Ligurian cuisine, are also part of that economic and commercial history which made the Republic of Genoa one of the most influential powers in the Mediterranean.
