Preliminary competition at “Aromatica”

Saturday 11 September as part of Aromatica, the great exhibition dedicated to basil, aromatic herbs, the excellence of agri-food and food and wine, typical local products, we will carry out the first preliminary competition of Genoese Pesto valid for the IX Championship World of Pesto Genovese al Mortaio 2022.
The exhibition, now in its eighth edition, includes producers’ expo, tastings, cooking shows, workshops, 4-handed dinners, themed dinners, conferences, book presentations, an area dedicated to quality street food, and much more. still.
The 2021 edition will take place on 10-11-12 September.
The appointment for the competition is Saturday 11 September at 5.30 pm at Villa Scarsella stage – 1st stage “Pesto Championship”, Pesto al Mortaio World Championship. Among the jurors Massimo Morini, leader of Buio Pesto, singer, conductor and director.
On the occasion he will play the official anthem of the Pesto Championship.
