New York City welcomes the excellence of Liguria and devotes an entire day to our typical products, traditional cuisine and tourist offer of our territory. The event is scheduled for Monday, September 23 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York, thanks to the organization of the Italian and Ligurian Chambers of Commerce and ISNART and the collaboration of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in New York.

The day begins with the awarding of about 30 New Yorkers caterers serving Italian food: the will receive the mark of the “Italian hospitality.” Then a demonstration of Genoese Pesto using marble mortar and wooden pestle, followed by the preliminary competition valid for the Genoa Pesto World Championship 2014: the winner will participate by right to the world final in Genoa! Following a session tourist presentation of our territory and meetings with American tour operators.
