Saturday 20th March, 2021: 8th Edition of the World Pesto Championship

The 8th edition of the World Pesto Championship was held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, entirely digitally for safety reasons and to allow all competitors to participate.

The Palatifini Association and the Camera di Commercio di Genova, along with institutional partners the Liguria Region and the Municipality of Genoa, confirmed the digital version of the event: a sign of resilience against the negative economic climate caused by the pandemic.
The event was streamed live from Palazzo Ducale on the Zoom platform, with the finalists connected live from home or represented via video.

All participants, both live and remote, were sent the products needed to make Pesto Genovese and the traditional Championship gadgets.
