Competitive and highly engaging team building
A tried and tested format that engages and entertains by sparking a bit of healthy competition for the prize at stake: direct access to the next edition of the World Pesto Championship.
A station for each of the 10 participants, including a mortar, pestle, ingredients, and apron.
A jury of 3 experts, who will explain and illustrate the history and preparation of pesto.
A time limit of 25 minutes to prepare the best pesto and earn a place at the Palazzo Ducale in the next Championship
After the staff has set up, the experts will give a short lesson on pesto and its ingredients, followed by a demonstration of how to prepare pesto with a mortar. At this point, participants will be invited to try their hand at preparing pesto, with a maximum time of 25 minutes, after which the judges will taste the sauces.
The participant who has prepared the pesto that best meets the criteria set out in the regulations will receive an invitation with direct access to the World Pesto Championship.
