The “Palatifini Cartoons” contest award, held on Saturday, March 17 on the occasion of the Fourth Genoa Pesto World Championship, was attended by the Belgian Constantin Sunnerberg winner of the”Pesto Genovese” theme, Vladimir Kazanevsky from Ukraine, winner of the “Food” theme, Marco De Angelis, journalist and cartoonist for La Repubblica , winner of the “City of Genoa” Prize and the mentioned by the jury Markus Grolik from Monaco of Bavaria, and Marilena Nardi, a professional cartoonist .
The Cartoonists attended the Championship with pens and “sketchbook” to the hand and during the day spent discovering the historical center of Genoa and tasting the best dishes of Ligurian tradition at Pesto Gran Galà, they have proved their skill in graphics and in catching in a few essential features, the suggestions of the day.
