The V Edition of the Food Journalism Festival ended successfully, the appointment is confirmed as one of the most important national events on food issues, which drew in the shadow of the Mole, in the new location of the Lingotto Congress Center, about 1200 people, including journalists, communicators, medical-scientific professionals, experts, representatives of food companies.

The preliminary competition, organized by the Genoa Chamber of Commerce, led by the creator of the Pesto World Championship and President of Palatifini Association Roberto Panizza on 21 February and open to 10 journalists, the winner of which could therefore participate at the Championship Final scheduled in Genoa on 28 March.

The space at the Festival was also animated by “Taste Liguria”, an educational and tasting corner on the agricultural products bearing the Denomination of Origin of Liguria: Genoese PDO Basil, PDO Riviera Ligure Oil and Ligurian PDO wines. “Taste Liguria” is the communication program of the Consortiums for the Protection of the Genoese Basil DOP and the DOP Riviera Ligure Oil, together with the Regional Enoteca, which offers consumers and operators in the sector the opportunity to learn the stories of these products and the values ​​that the DOP maintains along the production chain, offering the pleasure of an inimitable food that reveals the history and culture of the area.
