Preliminary Pesto competition valid for VIII Pesto World Championship!

A day dedicated to Pesto at Fico Eataly World.

A day to celebrate the Genoese pesto at the mortar according to tradition:

Genoese DOP basil from the Ligurian Riviera, Italian pine nuts, Vessalico garlic (Imperia), PDO Parmigiano Reggiano, Sardinian flower, marine sale of Trapani salt pans, DOP Riviera Ligure extra virgin olive oil.

Then passion, territory and the right people. A day to be protagonist, test yourself, learn and have fun together!

At 11.30 am the preliminary competition valid for the World Pesto Championship at Mortar in 2020 and at 14.30 Showcooking, a lesson to learn how to make the perfect pesto!
