We’re waiting for the Third Edition of the Championship and pesto is more and more international. In the last days has been protagonist in the cultural Reality Game from Belgium “Mercator”.
Two teams from Belgium get off the Tall Ship in a city to complete different missions, resolve enigmas and in the mean time to explore the city: history, artistic beauties, traditions and kitchen.
This year the choosen harbors are those of Mediterranean: Barcelona, Marsiglia and Genoa.
On Tuesday 6th of October in San Donato Square, in the heart of Genoa, competitors that have never eat and made pesto before, especially with marble mortar and wooden pestle, prepared the sauce with great dedication and energy to make the best pesto with a lot of fun!
The jury was composed by exponents of the Association PalatiFini with the President Roberto Panizza. They tasted pesto and decided for the victory of both the teams.
These demonstrations belongs to a series of events able to tell the qualities and excellences of ligurian land.
