The prestigious international event – now in its fifth edition –  will be held on Saturday, March 29 at Palazzo Ducale, Genoa, starting at about 10am.

100 competitors, from around the world, will face in the preparation of Genovese Pesto with high-quality ingredients and traditional instruments such as mortar and pestle.

30 international judges and guests, VIPs, journalists and wine bloggers.
The event is open to everyone. You can access the area reserved to the public in the Salone del Maggior Consiglio, which hosts the World Championship, and also in the Salone del Minor Consiglio with the Children’s Championship and the exposition: “Old mortars of Genovese and Ligurian families”.
