Many names of Italian journalism were challenged in a thrilling and participated “pesto” preliminary competition in occasion of the International Tourism Exchange in Milan.
The winner is Giacomina Valenti, editor of Marco Polo, followed closely by Jerry Bortolan, for “The Travel” section of TG2 News, and at third place Piera Genta, Italia a tavola.
Other journalists are: Emma Costa, Chiara Rizzo, Carlotta Lombardo, Antonella Tereo, Marinella Chiorino, Lia D’Angiolino e Ornella D’Alessio.
The jury was made by Enisio Franzosi, Director of Agenzia In Liguria, Mauro Boccaccio responsible for the Press Office of the Region of Liguria, Federico Barli province Councillor for Agriculture and Tourism, Lucio Bernini responsible of Consorzio Focaccia al Formaggio di Recco, and Roberto Panizza, President of the Cultural and Gastronomic Association Palatifini, creator and organizer of the Genoa Pesto World Championship.
