The first event of the Paris Cuisine Week was held in Lille on Friday 15th November.

In the framework of the Lille twinning with Turin, French students and Italian students, respectively from the International Hotel High School of Lille and the Imagination and Work Institute of Turin, took part in a preliminary qualifying competition for the Pesto World Championship to be held in Genoa in March 2020.

The competitors presented themselves in a mixed Italian-French combination, thus underlining the spirit of collaboration that animated the competition. Organized by the Palafitini Association of Genoa in collaboration with the Consulate General of Paris and the local association “Linea Direct”, the event saw the participation of about 40 people, including the director of the Lillese Hospitality Institute, the president of the Roberto Panizza, Palatifini Association, and the Councilor for the City of Lille for international relations, Marie-Pierre Bresso
