After two years, Genoa reopens the doors to Slow Fish, the international event on the world of the sea and fishing, organized by Slow Food and the Liguria Region to be held in the Porto Antico from 9 to 12 May 2019.

Central theme of this IX edition of Slow Fish, which has always focused on the sustainability of the marine ecosystem, will be the sea: common good.

Organizer of Slow Fish together with Slow Food, the Liguria Region sets up an ideal Ligurian square in the Old Port, where aromas and flavors of the different souls of the whole region meet, from Levante to Ponente.

In Piazza Centrale, a program full of initiatives, including workshops, tastings, presentations and activities for schools. In the shop space of DOP products Taste Liguria manages the infopoint and organizes animations on DOP Basilico Genovese, DOP Riviera Ligure and DOP Ligurian Wines in all senses, an experience and discovery of traditional agricultural products of the region.

Genova Pesto World Championship will also be present with a demonstration of Pesto and tastings of DOP products from Liguria, to learn about the history and secrets of the excellence of the territory and to discover the combinations in the kitchen.
