A very participated competition and a warm cheering for the 10 competitors who, in most cases, competed for the first time in the preparation of pesto with mortar and pestle.
The race was organized by the Brotherhood of Raschera and Bruss Cheeses and in collaboration with the restaurant El Cantun and the Bank Alpi Marittime of Carrù.
The jury was composed by Ezio Basso Domenico Grand Master of the Brotherhood of Raschera and Bruss Cheeses, Aldo Fraire Director of the Consortium of Raschera Cheese PDO, Romana Comino responsible ATL Cuneo, Giorgia Alessandria on behalf of the Bank Alpi Marittime of Carrù, and the journalist Zaira Mureddu. For the Association Palatifini, were present Gianni Arimondo, Sara Di Paolo and Sergio Ambrosetti.
