The second edition of “They are all our cabbages” (5 and 6 February 2021) ended very positively, an event that Lavagna administration did not want to give up despite the severe limitations imposed by the health emergency, which forced it last year’s format. However, it was also an opportunity to give the event a strong social characterization, with a view to getting closer to younger people. Exhibition of agri-food and typical products of excellence, webshow cooking, speaker corner, guided tours, digital quiz tours, traveling exhibitions represented the main ingredients of the event.

Now in its second edition on the idea of the Municipality of Lavagna, it sees the adhesion of the Liguria Region, the collaboration and support of the Genoa Chamber of Commerce, SGM (Genoa Market Management Company) and numerous partners.

“They are all our cabbages” protects and promotes the typical quality products of the Lavagna area, in particular the “Cavolo Lavagnino”, as well as the brands of origin Antichi Ortaggi del Tigullio, EVO Dop, Basilico Dop and Hazelnut Chiavari Mixed.

From the debates at the agri-food products market (under the Brignardello Portico), ‘They are all our cabbages’ has once again confirmed this year its role as storytelling of Ligurian excellences, of the link between human work and the protection of the territory. It also stimulates proximity experiential tourism, vital at this time for the economy of Liguria and to keep our own quality of life high.

The Palatifini Association and Genova Pesto World Championship were present with a preliminary competition, valid for the Championship that saw the students of the Accademia del Turismo di Lavagna as protagonists.

Congratulations to the winner!
