Classic Yacht Challenge: Pesto competitions among crews
On the occasion of the prestigious event Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge – the largest regatta of vintage sails that makes a stop in Imperia from 7 to 11 September – sailing teams will compete in the evening of Thursday, 8 in a basil Pesto cooking race!
The Pesto competition – “II Mediterranean Cooking Race: Chef on board!” – is reserved to the sailing crews and will take place in two sessions: after the first round (at 8 PM on stage at Calata Anselmi), a qualified jury will select the top 10 competitors and then – through a second test of the Genoese Pesto preparation using marble mortars and wooden pestle – the jury will select among them the champion who will represent Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge at the Genoa Pesto World Championship 2018!
The winner will be awarded a beautiful Panerai watch, too!
